New “Hidden Jam” out now!

I’m very excited to share some live recordings I’ve unearthed from the vault!

Over the course of the shutdown, I began digging through my collection of live recordings from long, long ago. Some of these recordings have never seen the light of day. I’ve decided to begin putting these out monthly as inspiration to write and record some new music with the band and draw from the energy of these magical moments.

This first release is called Don’s Funk/Pleasure Opportunity. Don’s Funk, was written by our previous bandmate and prolific musician, Don Goodwin. Pleasure Opportunity is a song I wrote as a teen that evolved and made its way onto Flowmotion’s sophomore release, Know By Now. These two tracks have always been an adventurous combo in our setlist. This moment was extra psychedelic featuring RL’s guitar wizardry, the foundation of Eric Bryson on bass, Scott Goodwin, and Bob Rees locked in like I’ve never heard before. The energy is palpable throughout this recording. This moment was captured under a full moon at Summer Meltdown in Darrington, WA. Saturday, August 13th, 2011. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Chip Butters at ButterSound Studios.

Enjoy!

Josh
